A temporary agreement was reached between the Lotto Receivers Union, the UHM and representatives of Maltco, pending the conclusion of a final agreement.
The interim accord was intended to provide continuity and certainty for receivers and sellers during the transition between concessions, while negotiations on the longer-term arrangements continued.
